Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam, operated by the Korea Racing Authority, is recruiting participants for a one-day horseback riding lesson and wedding snapshot photo shoot support program for engaged and newlywed couples seeking unique and personalized wedding photos.
LetsRunPark BusanGyeongnam is recruiting engaged couples to participate in the "Wedding Snap Photos with Horses" project.
This program was planned by Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam to alleviate the burden of high wedding costs and standardized wedding photos for engaged couples.
Through this initiative, the aim is to ease the initial financial burden of marriage for young couples and provide an opportunity to experience horses and horseback riding, thereby promoting the value and appeal of equestrian activities.
Under the name ‘Wedding Snapshot with Horses,’ this program offers engaged couples a special memory by utilizing the race park’s horses and infrastructure. Participating couples will receive basic horseback riding training, including leading, mounting, and controlling the horse for the photo shoot, and will be provided with safety gear such as helmets.
The photo shoot will take place in the green pastures and stables of the race park, with six horses of various colors and breeds participating. For safe photo sessions, a professional instructor will accompany the couple, but personal accident insurance is required and couples must arrange their own photographer.
Engaged couples wishing to participate in the horseback riding wedding snapshot program can apply by submitting a story about their memories as a couple through the Google Form provided in the announcements section of the Korea Racing Authority website by the 25th. Any engaged or newlywed couple residing in the Busan Gyeongnam region is eligible to apply. Ten couples selected through the screening process will receive horseback riding lessons and have their photo shoot during the program period from September 7 to October 13.
Um Youngseok, head of the Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Racing Authority, said, “I hope this program will help ease the financial burden on engaged couples and create special memories,” adding, “We will continue to develop unique programs at Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam to actively support young people.”
