The Exchange completed interior improvement work so that children in the local community who need care can use the local children's center in a safe and comfortable environment after school.
With this construction, the Yeonsan Local Children's Center transformed its previously aged environment into a new one through overall wallpapering and painting work, installation of partition walls, ceiling work, replacement of study desks and chairs, and the creation of new storage spaces.
The Korea Exchange has been renovating a total of 48 local children's centers nationwide since 2014.
Jung Eun-bo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, said, “I hope that children at the center will live happily in the changed environment and dream of a wonderful future,” and added, “The Exchange will continue to show ongoing interest and support so that children in our local communities can nurture their dreams in better environments.”
