Busan National Maritime Museum Tour and Gamji Beach Plogging Raise Marine Environmental Awareness
Soju Youth Culture Center in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do held the Planning Program II Marine Environment Protection Plogging event titled 'Stop for the Sea, Protect the Sea' on Saturday, August 10.
Yangsan Soju Youth Culture House conducted the marine environment protection plogging program "Stop the Sea, Protect the Sea."
This program was a plogging activity aimed at marine environment protection, directly planned and conducted by the volunteer club 'Happy Together' of Soju Youth Culture Center, with 30 elementary and middle school students participating.
On this day, participants spent time at the Busan National Maritime Museum to deepen their understanding of the marine ecosystem and environmental protection. They then moved to Gamji Beach, where they engaged in activities such as solving quizzes related to marine pollution, experiencing firsthand the seriousness of the marine litter problem, and participating in direct plogging activities like picking up trash to realize the necessity of marine environmental protection.
The volunteer club 'Happy Together,' which planned the program, demonstrated teamwork and leadership throughout the preparation and execution process, feeling a sense of accomplishment and further strengthening their commitment to marine environmental protection.
The Soju Youth Culture Center Planning Program II Marine Environment Protection Plogging event 'Stop for the Sea, Protect the Sea' provided a valuable opportunity for youth to recognize the importance of protecting the marine environment and to experience its value through action.
