Kwack Jae-sun, Chairman of KG Mobility, visited Turkey, a key market, to inspect export conditions and engage in on-site management.
On the 13th (local time), Chairman Kwack said at a meeting held at a sales dealership located in Istanbul, Turkey, "Turkey is an important market leading KGM's growth in the Middle East region," adding, "Since the launch of the Torres EVX in March, we have seen a significant increase in sales, and we will continue to launch various new models as well as strengthen communication and cooperation with dealerships to further increase sales volume."
He continued, "The new Actyon has received favorable reviews in Korea, so there are high expectations for increased sales volume in the Turkish market as well." According to KGM, the Actyon, whose design was unveiled last month, set a record for the highest pre-orders in the company's history with over 55,000 reservations in Korea.
The event was attended by key stakeholders including Chairman Kwack, KGM CEO Hwang Ki-young, and dealership representative Nihat Sasubaroglu. The event began with an explanation of KGM's major business plans, followed by sharing strategies to expand sales in the Turkish market and an introduction to the Actyon product.

By the first half of last year, 2,522 units were sold, ranking second among imported car brands.
KGM began the global launch of the Torres EVX starting with Turkey in March, followed by New Zealand and other markets. As of July, 6,292 units of the Torres EVX have been exported overseas. The cumulative export volume of all KGM models reached 36,663 units by July, an 11.2% increase compared to last year (32,981 units), which marked the highest performance in nine years.
