Hanwha Ocean Provides Encouragement Funds and Consolation Gifts to Navy 2nd Fleet Personnel

Creating a Healthy Leisure Environment

Hanwha Ocean, together with the non-profit organization 'People Sharing Hope (Huimangsa),' delivered encouragement funds and consolation gifts to the soldiers of the Navy's 2nd Fleet, who defend the West Sea and the metropolitan coastal areas.


On the 12th, Kim Ho-jung, Executive Director of Special Ship Sales at Hanwha Ocean, Nam Dong-woo, Advisor, and Kim Dong-woo, Vice Chairman of Huimangsa, visited the Navy's 2nd Fleet in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, and provided fitness equipment and daily necessities, Hanwha Ocean announced on the 14th. Hanwha Ocean explained that this support was planned so that Navy soldiers could carry out their missions in a healthy leisure environment.

Hanwha Ocean continues specialized social contribution activities such as supporting Navy vessels to encourage the hard work of Navy soldiers. Support for veterans and families of fallen soldiers is also ongoing. In January, the company donated 30 million won to the non-profit organization commemorating the victory of the 2nd Battle of Yeonpyeong to assist the families of fallen soldiers.
