Powder Conveying System specialist DYPNF recorded strong first-half performance based on a robust order backlog despite challenging domestic and international sales environments.
On the 14th, DYPNF announced that it posted consolidated sales of 97.1 billion KRW and operating profit of 7.8 billion KRW in the first half of this year. Revenue increased by 45% compared to the same period last year, while operating profit surged by 2026%.
The improvement in first-half results was due to the large-scale orders previously secured being recognized as sales in earnest. Including additional orders, DYPNF succeeded in securing high-quality large-scale orders such as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract worth 189.5 billion KRW from Sambak LFT. As of the end of June, the order backlog stood at approximately 570 billion KRW, the largest ever.
A company official stated, “With a plentiful order backlog that will serve as the foundation for future performance growth, the trend of improving results will continue. We will strengthen our competitiveness through profitability-focused orders and additional orders in future growth industries such as secondary batteries.”
DYPNF is diversifying its business areas into new growth industries such as secondary batteries, waste battery recycling, and waste plastic recycling based on its advanced technology and references across various fields.
