Chairman Kang Youngjin of Youngjin Power Tool Donates 150 Million Won Development Fund to Dong-Eui University

"The Foundation of National Development is Education, Hope It Will Be Used Effectively for Students"

On August 13, Kang Youngjin, Chairman of Youngjin Power Tool, donated 150 million KRW to Dong-Eui University for university development funds.

The donation ceremony, held at the president's office of Dong-Eui University, was attended by Chairman Kang Youngjin, President Han Suhwan of Dong-Eui University, Kim Chiyong, Director of External Cooperation, Lee Sangpil, Dean of the Graduate School of Industrial and Cultural Studies, Son Myunggyun, Vice Dean, and Kim Sungjung, the 23rd President of the Graduate School Alumni Association. Chairman Kang completed the Advanced Strategic Program at the Graduate School of Industrial and Cultural Studies at Dong-Eui University in 2012 and served as the 24th President of the Alumni Association.

Chairman Kang stated, "Due to the sudden passing of my father at a young age, I had to suspend my education and enter the workforce to support my family. As I began my career in the tool industry, I saw how cutting tools and solutions could elevate the technological standards of the manufacturing industry. This taught me that a strong foundation is essential for progress in any field, and I came to believe that education is the foundation of national development. That is why I decided to donate to Dong-Eui University. I hope the funds will be used effectively to support students in need."

President Han Suhwan expressed his gratitude, saying, "We deeply appreciate Chairman Kang's noble intentions and will ensure that students facing difficult circumstances do not have to discontinue their education. We will use the funds carefully to help our students build a solid foundation."
