August Domestic 'New' Grape Full Shipment Period
Shine Muscat Up to 34%... Kyoho and Campbell 30% Discount
Emart announced on the 14th that it will hold a 'Super Grape Festa' discounting Shine Muscat, Kyoho, Campbell, and more from the 15th to the 22nd.
Everyday (supermarket) will also participate in this event. For the event, Emart, Everyday, and Traders, three business divisions, conducted integrated purchasing and prepared a total volume of about 700 tons, expanded by approximately 30% compared to the same period last year. Through the buying power based on integrated purchasing, they secured excellent farm produce from famous grape-producing regions first, allowing them to offer high-quality products and lower prices through bulk purchasing.
Emart will sell its representative product, the 1.5kg Shine Muscat, at a 30% discount from the regular price of 25,500 KRW to 17,850 KRW when paid with event cards. For Samsung Card holders only, an additional 1,000 KRW discount is applied, making the final price 16,850 KRW, a total discount of 34%.
The Shine Muscat products are mostly greenhouse-grown in famous regions such as Gimcheon and Gyeongsan in Gyeongbuk Province and are harvested at optimal ripeness. They guarantee uniform quality as they have passed sampling inspections measuring 15 Brix sugar content.
In addition, Emart sells Campbell grapes (1.5kg) and Kyoho grapes (1.4kg) at 30% off the regular prices of 22,500 KRW and 24,000 KRW, respectively, when paid with event cards, at 15,750 KRW and 16,800 KRW.
At Everyday, targeting single- and two-person households, they also sell a convenient small portion product called ‘One-bite Shine Muscat 600g pack’ priced at 7,908 KRW.
Warehouse discount store Traders offers a 3,000 KRW discount on Shine Muscat products when Shinsegae points are accumulated until the 18th. At the same time, for the popular imported grape, the US-grown Sweet Sapphire (1.36kg), a 4,000 KRW discount is applied when paying with Samsung Card.
Kim Hyojin, Emart’s grape buyer, said, “Grapes have ranked first in Emart’s August fruit sales for the past three years, showing that customers are currently seeking grapes a lot,” adding, “We hope many customers will enjoy various grape varieties at affordable prices, fitting the name ‘Super Grape Festa.’”
