Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the beauty volunteer site held at the Mapo Community Sports Center on the morning of the 13th.
This volunteer activity was organized by the Mapo Branch of the Korea Beauty Association (Branch President Ha Ji-song) Filial Piety Meal Volunteer Group and was conducted for low-income elderly residents in the area.
The elderly, after receiving beauty services, expressed satisfaction with their neat appearance and repeatedly showed gratitude to the volunteers.
On this day, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, “I sincerely thank all the volunteers who willingly donated their talents for the elderly,” and added, “Mapo District believes that a society where the elderly are happy is an advanced society, and we will actively implement practical and tangible welfare policies for the elderly.”
