Names and Alma Maters of 800 Core Former Staff Members
The police have launched an investigation into the 'Second Cham Doctor List,' which contains personal information of senior residents who did not participate in the collective resignation.
On the 13th, the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that it had begun an investigation after receiving a report the previous day from the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The report stated that a post containing personal information of about 800 senior residents, including their names, alma maters, and affiliated hospitals, was uploaded on a file-sharing site. Although the post has since been deleted, the list is reportedly still circulating on various online communities.
The list includes many senior residents who were not part of the so-called 'Cham Doctor List,' which contained personal information of residents who did not participate in the collective resignation in March. The author of the post wrote, "There are those who steadfastly continue to provide medical care in this ailing world," and added, "I want to widely publicize these admirable doctors who uphold their beliefs and strive to set the world right."
Additionally, the post shared methods for reporting senior residents who have returned to work and stated to those included in the list, "If you report 50 people not on the list, we will remove your name."
