An incident occurred in Daegu where a woman in her 80s attacked a bank branch manager with a weapon, prompting a police investigation.
According to the Daegu Nambu Police Station on the 13th, Ms. A is suspected of wielding a weapon at Mr. B, a branch manager in his 50s, during a conversation at a bank in Nam-gu at around 9:15 a.m. that day.
Mr. B sustained facial injuries and was transported to the hospital, but his life is not in danger. The police have detained Ms. A on charges of aggravated assault and are investigating the case.
It has been reported that Ms. A has been suffering from a disability following cerebral infarction surgery. The police are proceeding with emergency hospitalization procedures for Ms. A and plan to investigate the motive behind the crime.
