Pohang Pharmacists Association Unites to Overcome Low Birth Rate... Participates in Fundraising Campaign

Gae-guk Yaksa Donates Fund by Collecting 10,000 Won per Person

The Pohang Pharmacists Association visited Pohang City Hall on the 13th to participate in the 'Overcoming Low Birth Rate Fundraising Campaign' and delivered a donation of 2,190,000 won.

Established in 1961, the association has been actively engaged in various social contribution activities in the healthcare sector to promote regional development. In particular, since 2008, it has provided free eyeglasses to more than 3,760 students from underprivileged backgrounds.


Kim Jin, President of the Pohang Pharmacists Association, stated, "The donation of 2,190,000 won was collected by member pharmacists, each contributing 10,000 won in line with the nationwide fundraising campaign aimed at overcoming the low birth rate. We will continue to show ongoing interest in addressing the low birth rate and ensuring the sustainable growth of our region."


Mayor Lee Kangdeok said, "I am grateful to the Pohang Pharmacists Association for their interest in overcoming the low birth rate and for participating in the donation campaign. We will ensure that the donation is effectively used for projects to address the low birth rate."
