Donations of Supplies for Flood Victims in Yeongyang County, Warm Support Continues

Donations from organizations to help residents suffering from damage and difficulties caused by the heavy rainfall in July continue to be made to Yeongyang-gun.

Donations of Supplies for Flood Victims in Yeongyang County, Warm Support Continues Korea Red Cross Gyeongbuk Branch donated supplies on the 12th for flood victims in Yeongyang County.

On the 12th, the Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korean Red Cross donated 25 sets of functional blankets and 6 boxes of seaweed for flood victims, as well as 600 pairs of gloves and 100 pairs of boots to support the on-site recovery workforce.


The Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korean Red Cross has been providing volunteer services for residents in need, such as supporting laundry vehicles, since the occurrence of the flood damage.


In addition, Seung Hye Livestock in Yeongju City practiced neighborly love by donating 100 boxes (worth about 10 million KRW) of beef bone soup (20 packs per box) to Geumhak-ri and Daecheon-ri for flood victims.

Oh Dochang, the county governor, said, "We are grateful for the donations of relief supplies for local residents in difficulty, and we will do our utmost to help those affected by the heavy rainfall quickly return to their daily lives."
