Der Bibimbap Selected as Official Partner of Thai Professional Football Team 'Muangthong United'

Thai Korean food brand The Bibimbap announced on the 13th that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the local professional football league team Muangthong United at the Thunder Dome Stadium in Nonthaburi, Thailand, for the 2024-2025 season.

The Bibimbap, established in 2011, is a well-known Korean food dining brand in Thailand, operating 14 stores across the country including in major shopping malls such as ICONSIAM, Siam Paragon, EmQuartier, Central Plaza, and the Bangkok United Nations Conference Center (UNCC). In addition, it has launched the ‘The Kimchi’ brand, certified by the Thai FDA, which is distributed in large supermarkets.

Muangthong United, founded in 1989, has featured Korean players such as Hong Seong-wook, Lee Ho, Oh Ban-seok, Kim Jin-gyu, and coach Yoon Jeong-hwan. Along with Buriram United and Chonburi United, it is considered one of the top teams in the Thai League.

For the 2024-2025 Thai professional football league season, The Bibimbap is the only official Korean sponsor, joining major companies from various sectors such as Coca-Cola, Yamaha, Mitsubishi, Leo Beer, AirAsia, Fujifilm, Bangkok Hospital, and Thai Ticket Major as official sponsors.

The event was attended by Muangthong United CEO Wirak Rotung and club owner Ronnarit Suwaja, as well as Italian professional football league veteran coach Gino Lettieri. Team representatives Picha Uttra, Tristan Somchai, Kittiphong Phutawut, and Ronaldo Kwate were also present.
