DifferAI Wins 'IFIA Best Invention Medal' at 2024 US Silicon Valley International Invention Exhibition

DifferEye announced on the 13th that it won the 'IFIA Best Invention Medal' by submitting a patent at the 2024 Silicon Valley International Invention Fair (SVIIF) held in Silicon Valley, USA.

SVIIF is a global exhibition where inventors and innovators from around the world gather to showcase the latest technologies and creative inventions. This year, it was held from May 26 to 28 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California, USA. SVIIF is hosted by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) and is supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the City of Santa Clara, and the United States Inventors Association, earning great prestige among inventors worldwide.

DifferEye demonstrated its technological prowess at this exhibition, where over 200 invention patents from 25 countries were submitted. The patented technology DifferEye presented at the exhibition is the "Neural Network Computation Method Suitable for Hardware Implementation and Its Device," which aims to optimize the large amount of computation and parameters of convolutional neural networks to provide minimal accuracy loss and maximum computation speed. Through this, a high-performance inference acceleration device with power efficiency can be realized.

At the exhibition, DifferEye introduced a technology that implements a high-performance inference acceleration device with power efficiency through a neural network parameter light-weighting method. It suggested the applicability of edge AI semiconductors in response to the increasing demand for low-power semiconductors and emphasized the potential to enter high value-added businesses applicable to various industries such as AI SBC, ANPR, sports inspection, and defense. In particular, the 'Tachy-Pi-E13F1' module attracted significant attention by demonstrating an AI acceleration module easily compatible with existing SBCs.

Lee Sangheon, CEO of DifferEye, said, “This award will further recognize our technological capabilities and strengthen our position in the global market,” adding, “We will continue to maintain our leading position in the advanced neural network technology field through continuous technology development and innovation.”
