Cheering for the Successful Hosting of the National Sports Festival
Lee Seunghwa, the governor of Sancheong-gun in Gyeongnam, expressed his support for the successful hosting of the National Sports Festival and the National Para Games, which will take place in the Gimhae area this October.
According to Sancheong-gun on the 13th, Governor Lee participated in the "2024 National (Para) Sports Festival Success Relay Challenge."
This challenge was launched to foster a positive atmosphere and ensure the successful hosting of the 105th National Sports Festival and the 44th National Para Games. Starting with Gimhae, the host city, the relay event involves the governor of Gyeongnam and heads of cities and counties, with Sancheong-gun participating as the 12th runner.
Governor Lee, along with Kim Suhan, chairman of the Sancheong County Council, and Kwon Heeseong, president of the Sancheong County Sports Association, wished for the success of the two major sports events in Gyeongnam and called for the interest and support of both provincial and county residents.
The 105th National Sports Festival will be held across Gyeongnam, centered in Gimhae, from October 11 to 17, while the 44th National Para Games will take place from October 25 to 30.
In Sancheong-gun, the Wushu competition of the National Sports Festival will be held at the gymnasium from October 12 to 14.
