In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 12th (local time), she received 4.28 points, jumping 10 spots from 22nd place last week. She secured first place in the women's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, held on the Olympic Course (par 72) at Le Golf National in Guyancourt near Paris on the 10th, earning a large number of points.

This marks her third consecutive Olympic medal, following a silver medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games and a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Games. She earned the 1 point she was short of to qualify for the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame, becoming the youngest inductee at 27 years and 4 months old.

Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu (both USA), Hee Young Yang, and Jin Young Ko maintained their positions in the ‘Top 4’. Hannah Green (Australia) moved up one spot to 5th place. South Korea’s Hyo Joo Kim is ranked 13th, Haeran Yu 18th, Jiyai Shin 29th, Yewon Lee 30th, and Hyun Kyung Park 36th.

The LPGA Tour will hold tournaments in Europe for two weeks. Starting on the 15th, the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open (total prize money $2 million) will take place in Scotland, followed by the major AIG Women’s Open (total prize money $9 million) in Scotland from the 22nd.
