MOU with MHD Rockland... Distribution and Agency Agreement
Defense company BigTech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MHD Rockland, a global Canadian aviation parts supplier.
According to BigTech on the 13th, this agreement is for distribution and agency contracts. The two companies plan to promote various projects through close cooperation, including aviation parts, maritime patrol aircraft (P-3C) and transport aircraft (C-130), performance-based logistics (PBL), propeller MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul), and the development of substitutes for discontinued parts.
For example, if the military requests aviation parts from MHD Rockland, instead of responding from Montreal, Canada (including Florida, USA), the company explained that the parts will be supplied in real-time to domestic military units through a BigTech material warehouse to be established in Songdo, Incheon. By responding more quickly to major MRO parts for military-operated aircraft such as the P-3C and C-130, it is expected to greatly contribute to enhancing military combat power and improving the operational rate of related equipment.
Meanwhile, as part of preparing for related business, BigTech established its subsidiary 'BigTech MHD Rockland' last April.
