A report was received that a man in his 20s, who was returning home in Cheongna International City, Incheon, went missing, prompting the police to launch an investigation.


According to the Incheon Western Police Station on the 12th, a report was made to 112 around 12:20 a.m. on the 9th that a man in his 20s, Mr. A, went missing in Cheongna-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon. It is understood that Mr. A disappeared while returning home after a company dinner. At the time, he was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.

Mr. B, an acquaintance of Mr. A, posted a message titled "Looking for my friend missing in Cheongna, Incheon (Please take a look)" on the online community Bobae Dream on the 11th, asking for help. In the post, Mr. B stated that Mr. A is 173 cm tall and weighs 63 kg, and explained that he was last seen on CCTV at Cheongna Hanyang Sujain before disappearing. Mr. B said, "He is not someone who would make an extreme choice or disappear without reason. He was in contact as usual until before the company dinner," and added, "A missing person report has been filed with the police, and now the police, family, and friends are all desperately searching," appealing for assistance.


Mr. B posted the message in a desperate attempt to find any clue and also shared several photos of Mr. A. Later, Mr. B updated the post with the progress of the search. He said, "As of noon on the 11th, he has not been found yet," and added, "The police are using drones to search the waterways, and I am also walking around the Lake Park and Naerincheon. If anyone can help, please contact me, 112, or the assigned investigator’s number," once again asking netizens for help.


Meanwhile, the police are continuing the search for the fourth day, confirming Mr. A’s movements based on CCTV analysis. A police official said, "We are deploying drone equipment to search mainly around nearby waterways and other areas for the missing person."
