Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is recruiting participants for the "Gwangjin-gu Senior Internship" to support job activities for middle-aged individuals with experience and expertise.

The recruitment target is unemployed middle-aged residents of Gwangjin-gu aged 50 to 64. Applicants must be able to work 57 hours per month and 15 hours per week. The activity allowance is based on the Gwangjin-gu living wage, which is 11,436 KRW per hour.

The participating companies are four local businesses: Ipool Herb Cooperative, Walking Ants Co., Ltd., Sarami & G Co., Ltd., and Sarangjae Nursing Home. Six people will be selected to assist with business operation support, education support, promotional activities, and other auxiliary roles.

The selection process is conducted directly by each company. After the first round of document screening, the final selection is made through a second round of interviews. Selected participants will work for four months from September to December.

Those wishing to participate in the internship should submit the application form, self-introduction letter, resident registration certificate, and other required documents by 5 p.m. on the 16th, either by visiting the Lifelong Education Division of Gwangjin-gu Office or via email. For more details, please contact the Lifelong Education Division of Gwangjin-gu Office.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "I hope this internship program will be an opportunity for both participating companies and middle-aged individuals to coexist and develop. We ask for your interest and participation," and added, "We will continue to strive to discover customized projects that utilize the experience and knowledge of the middle-aged population."
