At the briefing, participants brainstormed solutions for projects supported by the government, ranging from the ‘Climate Response Urban Forest’ project to the ‘Opportunity Development Special Zone Data Center,’ ‘Carbon Neutral Edo Center,’ ‘Kimchi Raw Material Supply Complex,’ and the ‘Southwest Coast Ecological Garden City Project.’

They also listened to difficulties and proposed projects from each SPC, including the establishment of new sewage treatment facilities, securing new industrial complexes for the utilization of industrial facility sites, revising local regulations for the establishment of foreign educational institutions, and requests for amendments to the Special Act on Enterprise Cities.

This briefing is expected to be a turning point for developing the enterprise city more rapidly and strategically, promoting tourism development and investment.

Jeollanam-do will continue to prioritize the early development of the enterprise city and plans to hold regular briefings with ongoing communication to achieve this.

Solarisdo currently operates four golf courses, including the newly opened Sani Garden in May, featuring the world’s only straight runway-shaped course and crater-shaped bunkers, emerging as a unique travel destination during the summer vacation season.

Seo Soon-cheol, Jeollanam-do Enterprise City Officer, said, "Solarisdo Enterprise City is a key area for the development of tourism and leisure on the southwest coast and requires urgent development. We will do our best to activate the enterprise city early and provide concrete results to the residents."
