The Naval Logistics Command has also joined the "Relay Campaign for Eating Breakfast," organized by Gyeongnam Nonghyup.
On the 12th, Cho Geunsoo, head of Gyeongnam Nonghyup, and Commander Ahn Sangmin (Major General) of the Logistics Command participated in the "Relay Campaign for Eating Breakfast" event held at the headquarters of the Logistics Command and agreed to work together for this cause.
At the event, Head Cho provided 50 bags of 10kg rice and refreshing Korean rice Sikhye to civilian employees with disabilities who work diligently for the community, as well as to soldiers and civilian employees at the base islands and maintenance depots who perform their duties under the scorching heat.
Head Cho said, "I wanted to be of some help to the Navy soldiers and civilian employees who are devoted to protecting our seas on the front lines, and also to promote the consumption of high-quality rice produced in the Gyeongnam region. I sincerely thank the soldiers and civilian employees of the Logistics Command for willingly participating in today's relay campaign."
Commander Ahn said, "It was a meaningful event as it not only contributed to revitalizing the local economy but also helped protect the health of our soldiers and civilian employees. I hope more military units and public institutions will join this campaign so that local farmers can also benefit. We have decided to join forces for a valuable partnership with our sister organization, the Gyeongnam Nonghyup headquarters."
