Cheongsong Youth Gain Opportunities for Artistic Dreams and Growth
The Dream Orchestra 'Cheongsong' participated in the 2024 Dream Arts Troupe Joint Camp 'Dream Festival,' held by the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Pyeongchang County from the 7th to the 9th.
The 2024 Dream Arts Troupe Joint Camp 'Dream Festival' was a camp where the Dream Orchestra and the Dream Dance Troupe came together. A total of 14 organizations (5 orchestras and 9 dance troupes), along with about 400 members and officials, participated in the event. They engaged in member exchanges and arts immersion workshops, and on the final day, all participants joined in a large-scale collaborative performance to conclude the camp.
In particular, the arts immersion workshop was led by violinist Danny Koo and dance director Kim Boram (of Ambiguous Dance Company), providing the youth with an opportunity to broaden their artistic perspectives.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee said, "I believe the Dream Orchestra joint camp is a valuable opportunity for our children to nurture their artistic dreams," and added, "I hope that through this camp, the youth will gain diverse artistic experiences and further contribute to the development of culture and arts in our local community."
