Father Works at Maeil Dairies Affiliate M's Bakers
To Provide Support Worth Approximately 60 Million KRW Along with Congratulatory and Encouragement Funds
Maeil Holdings and Maeil Dairies announced on the 12th that they promised congratulatory encouragement funds and support of the protein supplement Selex and health functional foods until the next LA Olympics to the family of Park Tae-jun, the gold medalist in the men's 58kg Taekwondo category at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Park Tae-jun's father is an employee working at M's Bakers, an affiliate of Maeil Dairies.
Maeil Dairies informed employees of Park Tae-jun's participation on the day of the Olympic event through an internal email and promised to cheer together. Upon hearing the news of his gold medal victory, they once again extended their congratulations. On the 12th, Park Ok-cheon, Park Tae-jun's father, who returned from the Paris Olympics site, was invited to Maeil Dairies headquarters, where congratulatory encouragement funds and product support worth approximately 60 million KRW of Selex and health functional foods were promised. These products are sufficient for Park Tae-jun to consume over the next four years until the LA Olympics.
At the congratulatory event, executives and employees, including Cho Sung-hyung, CEO of M's Bakers, attended and exchanged congratulations. Park Tae-jun's father, Mr. Park, expressed his thoughts, saying, "I believe that Park Tae-jun was able to develop healthy physical strength by drinking Maeil Dairies' formula and milk for 20 years since he was young," and added, "I deeply appreciate the sincere support and congratulations from the employees."
