September 7 Hwangsan Park Outdoor Special Stage
The Yangsan City Gymnastics Association is hosting and organizing the 'Yangsan Blue Ocean Festa 2024 Active Dance Competition,' with sponsorship from Yangsan City (Mayor Na Dongyeon) and the Yangsan City Sports Council (Chairman Jeong Sangyeol). The event will be held grandly at the outdoor special stage in Hwangsan Park on September 7.
This competition, being held for the first time this year, is divided into GX and dance categories to allow participation from a wide range of ages, from children to adults. The total prize money is 8.7 million KRW, with winners in each category receiving between 500,000 KRW and up to 3 million KRW.
What is particularly noteworthy about this event is the special performances by renowned dancers. Participants and spectators will have the opportunity to enjoy dynamic and captivating performances by dancers famous nationwide, making for a richer and more memorable experience through a variety of dance shows.

An official from Yangsan City stated, "Since the event is being held at Hwangsan Park, which boasts beautiful natural scenery as a riverside park along the Nakdong River, it will be a great opportunity for many participants and spectators from across the country to enjoy a lively and joyful time." The official added, "We expect this meaningful event to establish itself as a contributor to the popularization of recreational sports and dance communities."
