Coupang Goes Offline Again... First Parenting Products Pop-up in Yongsan

'Baby & Kids Show' at Yongsan I'Park Mall
Previously held 3 pop-up stores for beauty products
First-come, first-served 150,000 KRW baby gift set giveaway

Coupang meets consumers offline. Following beauty products, this time it is opening a pop-up store for childcare products.


Coupang announced on the 12th that it will hold a 'Baby & Kids Show' pop-up store for three days starting from the 23rd on the 3rd floor of Living Park at Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul. The Baby & Kids Show is a large-scale childcare product discount event held four times a year with the participation of many popular Coupang brands. Until now, it was held online, but this time, Coupang explained that it will be presented in the form of a pop-up store for customers who want to experience childcare products before purchasing.


Coupang Goes Offline Again... First Parenting Products Pop-up in Yongsan Coupang announced that it will hold a 'Baby & Kids Show' pop-up store on the 3rd floor of Living Park at Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul from the 23rd to the 25th.

This is the fourth time that Coupang, an online distribution platform, is opening a pop-up store offline. Previously, Coupang first appeared offline through the Mega Beauty Show virtual store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, in August last year. After that, the same event was held at eight Megabox locations nationwide in November of the same year and again in Seongsu-dong in April this year.


There are about 60 brands participating in this Baby & Kids Show. Representative brands include ▲Joy ▲Nuna ▲Daichi ▲Soonsung ▲Pampers ▲Kindo ▲Maeil Dairies ▲Yuhan Health Care ▲a2 ▲Numberblocks ▲Lego Duplo, among others. These brands offer discounts of up to 50% during the event. The discount sales will continue online from the 19th of this month until the 2nd of next month, as well as at the pop-up store.


Coupang will give away the 'Coupang Baby & Kids Reusable Bag' to the first visitors to the pop-up store. In addition, customers who collect five stamps on the mission sheet placed in each theme zone and submit them will receive separate prizes. The prizes, including the 'Nuna Mixx Next Stroller' and Coupang gift cards, will be awarded to 238 people through a draw on the 2nd of next month.


Wow members who visit the pop-up store and purchase products from participating brands worth 20,000 KRW or more on the same day and verify their purchase can receive a baby gift set worth up to 150,000 KRW on a first-come, first-served basis. Depending on the product, discount coupons of up to 20% based on the purchase amount will also be provided. A Coupang official said, "Parents with young children order Rocket Delivery more than 20 times per month on average," adding, "Coupang will continue to introduce special events that provide various benefits to become a more reliable 'childcare ally' for customers."
