KB Asset Management, a leader in family-friendly management, announced on the 12th that it held the ‘Office Culture Day Festival’ on the 10th of this month, inviting about 50 employees’ families with young children.
The event, held at KB Asset Management’s headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, aimed to enhance employees’ loyalty and support work-family balance, featuring a diverse and enriching program.
First, following a special lecture by a professional art instructor, a children’s drawing contest was held on themes such as ‘My Dream’ and ‘What I Like.’ This was followed by a magic show consisting of magic tricks, balloon art, and an LED show, which received enthusiastic responses from employees’ families.
The drawings completed by employees’ children in this contest will be exhibited as artworks within the office space at KB Asset Management’s headquarters.
KB Asset Management is gaining attention in the industry by expanding family-friendly management. Recently, to prevent career interruptions due to childbirth and childcare, the company extended the parental leave period to two years. It also created a family-friendly work environment by providing childbirth incentives of 400,000 KRW per child per month.
Additionally, various welfare programs are in place, such as quarterly family invitation events for employees, a ‘Flexible Commute System’ allowing employees to start work anytime between 8 and 9 a.m., and ‘Family Day,’ encouraging employees to leave work on time every Wednesday.
Kim Young-sung, CEO of KB Asset Management, emphasized, “The ‘Office Culture Day Festival,’ held by inviting employees’ children, was prepared to strengthen family bonds and create special experiences through parents’ workplace experiences during summer vacation. We will continue to do our best to support not only improving employees’ work efficiency but also achieving a balance between work and family.”
