On the 6th, the opening day of FMS, FADU demonstrated a solid cooperative relationship by delivering a joint keynote speech with Western Digital and Meta. Under the theme "Leading the AI Revolution," FADU presented the development direction of flash memory storage devices in the AI era and forecasted innovative changes in solid-state drive (SSD) and controller technologies. The company also introduced plans for next-generation SSD development and revealed future strategies as a leading company in the 5th generation (Gen5) and 6th generation (Gen6) controller markets.

Anu Mercy, Vice President of Marketing at FADU and keynote speaker, analyzed the future of flash memory storage devices and the resulting changes in SSD and controller technologies, proposing standardization focused on high performance and high efficiency. She outlined the future that FADU must pioneer, including the development of next-generation SSDs tailored for the AI era, establishing itself as a leader in next-generation SSD controllers, and next-generation data center systems centered on CXL.

Additionally, FADU set up a large exhibition booth comparable in scale to Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Kioxia, showcasing a wide range of next-generation data center solutions aligned with the AI era. The company unveiled the world's first DRAMless enterprise SSD products that maximize efficiency beyond existing SSDs. It also demonstrated innovative technologies required for next-generation enterprise SSDs (eSSD), such as FDP (Flexible Data Placement) and ATS (Address Translation Service).

On the 7th, FADU formalized cooperation with Chinese storage solution specialist Biwin by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the 2024 FMS venue. Going forward, FADU and Biwin will pursue comprehensive collaboration to target the Chinese market. This includes enterprise SSD development, marketing, and sales targeting cloud, server/storage companies within China; joint development of consumer SSDs for the Chinese market; establishment of mass production and testing facilities for SSD products aimed at the Chinese market; and active mutual cooperation in various fields including overseas consumer markets where Biwin has a presence. Founded in 2010, Biwin has recently ranked 8th worldwide in embedded storage shipments and has emerged as a leading Chinese storage device specialist. Leveraging cooperation with Biwin, FADU plans to actively target China, the world's second-largest market.

Jihyo Lee, CEO of FADU, said, "This FMS was an opportunity to confirm the technological and business achievements FADU has built over nine years. While we have so far verified our technology mainly with a small number of customers, from this year onward, full-scale growth is beginning through aggressive expansion in products, customers, and markets. We expect to demonstrate business achievements as a global leader in the enterprise SSD market, overcoming last year's market downturn."
