From the 15th to 25th, 2-10 PM: Official Mascot 'Bugi' Summer Experience Night Tourism Content
With Bugi: Mega Photo Zone, Photo Booth, Special Goods, Travel Experience, Rest Area, Flea Market - Total 6 Theme Zones
Busan Metropolitan City, together with the Busan Tourism Organization (President Lee Jeongshil), will operate the 'Boogi Summer Night Popup' at Yongdusan Park from the 15th of this month to August 25.
The 'Boogi Summer Night Popup' is an interactive nighttime tourism content themed around the summer adventures of 'Boogi,' the city's official communication character loved by many.
This event is part of a project to establish a city specialized in nighttime tourism, selected through a Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism contest. It aims to showcase tourism content that a diverse range of visitors can enjoy, promoting the charm of Busan's beautiful nightscape.
Visitors can explore a total of six themed zones, starting with the 'Mega Photo Zone' where they can take pictures with the giant Boogi, as well as the 'Photo Booth,' 'Special Goods Zone,' 'Travel Experience Zone,' 'Rest Zone,' and 'Flea Market Zone.'
First, the 'Mega Photo Zone' featuring a 4-meter-tall Boogi sculpture and Busan Tower in the background welcomes visitors at the entrance of the popup. Further inside, there is the Boogi 'Photo Booth' for taking four-cut photos with Boogi, the 'Special Goods Zone' offering popular Boogi fan merchandise, the 'Travel Experience Zone' for various activities with Boogi, the 'Rest Zone' decorated with cute Boogi motifs, and the 'Flea Market Zone.'
Anyone visiting Yongdusan Park can enjoy the 'Boogi Summer Night Popup,' which operates from 2 PM to 10 PM.
Additionally, during the popup period, a variety of events will take place, including a Special Day event where visitors can meet Boogi making a surprise appearance at Yongdusan Park, and on-site events where limited-edition Boogi fan merchandise is given away.
On the 15th, there will be a Special Day event where visitors can meet Boogi operating the popup in person. On the 17th, a dance battle and quiz event with Boogi will be held. On the 25th, a Night Parade Show will feature Boogi alongside Lotte World's Loti and Lora characters.
Various on-site events such as SNS follow and surveys will also be held, with gifts given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The gifts include newly released limited-edition fan merchandise.

Park Geunrok, Director of the City’s Tourism MICE Bureau, said, “Following last year, we plan to captivate tourists again this year with a variety of tourism content utilizing Busan’s beautiful nightscape,” and added, “The city will continue to do its best to develop Busan into an international destination city specialized in nighttime tourism, full of attractions and experiences even after dark.”
