Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) is recruiting a promotional team until August 22 to create special summer memories with their beloved dogs at the pet-friendly camping site.

The "Pet-Friendly Camping Site" is a pet-friendly facility established by Mapo-gu in Nanji Hangang Park, Sangam-dong, and was completed in June.

Before the official opening of the camping site in early September, Mapo-gu plans to gather reviews and feedback from the promotional team during the trial operation period to improve and ensure smooth operation.

The promotional team will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis at the 16 community service centers across Mapo-gu, with a recruitment scale of 20 to 30 families per district, each accompanied by small to medium or large dogs.

Families selected as the promotional team can use the camping site facilities and picnic zones during their designated sessions among the 20 sessions held from August 23 to September 1.

In particular, as a summer camping event, participants can enjoy the "Cool at the Camping Site (dog)" water play area to beat the midsummer heat. However, families with large dogs can only participate in sessions designated exclusively for large dogs, not the district-designated sessions.

Additionally, Mapo-gu will provide rental services including tents, tables, and camping chairs for promotional team members who do not have camping equipment.

Families wishing to participate as promotional team members with their dogs can inquire at their local community service center.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "We are recruiting a promotional team to listen to various opinions about the pet-friendly camping site ahead of its official opening," and added, "We ask for the active interest and participation of residents who will engage in the experience activities."
