The Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported that missile debris from a downed missile fell on a residential building in the Brovary area near Kyiv overnight.

Inside the damaged building, the bodies of a 35-year-old man and his four-year-old son were found, and there were also three seriously injured, the State Emergency Service added.

The Ukrainian Air Force stated that two Russian missiles flew toward Kyiv, and in addition to Kyiv, five other regions were attacked by suicide drones (unmanned aerial vehicles).

AFP reported that this airstrike occurred amid growing local concerns that Russia, provoked by Ukrainian attacks on Russian mainland, might carry out large-scale bombings targeting major Ukrainian cities.

Russian forces, under the orders of President Vladimir Putin, have been invading Ukraine since February 24, 2022, about two and a half years ago, regularly bombing Kyiv and other key rear cities.

Meanwhile, on the 6th, Ukrainian forces advanced into Russia's Kursk Oblast, bordering Ukraine's northeastern Sumy Oblast, and have been engaged in combat for the fifth day against Russian troops who began to regroup late.
