September 4-6, Advanced Printing Technology... Applications in Display and Secondary Battery Fields
The "Advances in Printing Technology 2024," an international academic networking event in the field of advanced printing technologies applied to displays, secondary batteries, and more, will be held at the National Pukyong National University in Busan on September 4.
Organized by IS&T in the United States, the 2024 Advances in Printing Technology conference will be held from September 4 to 6 at the Dongwon Jangbo Hall of National Pukyong National University under the theme "Sustainable Imaging Technologies and Business."
During this period, keynote speeches, invited lectures, thematic presentations, and technical courses by leading researchers from Asia, Europe, and other regions will enhance understanding of the future and innovative applications of printing technology, as well as provide networking opportunities for related researchers.
The keynote speeches will include Toshitaka Uemura, Executive Vice President of Konica Minolta Japan, presenting "Achieving Better Communication and Society through the Power of Digital Printing," and Professor Cho Kyujin of Sungkyunkwan University, presenting "R2R Gravure Foundry for Four Things: Internet of Things (IoT), Display of Things (DoT), Vision of Things (VoT), Test of Things (ToT)."
Other thematic presentations include "SDGs Initiatives through Ricoh Inkjet Technology R&D" (Yoshihisa Joshi Ota, SEO, Ricoh Company), "Fully Printed Curved Cellulose Nanofiber-Ag Nanoparticle Composites for High Sensitivity" (Professor Kim Dongsoo, Hanbat National University), "Appearance Reproduction and Individual Observer Profiles in Color Management Pipeline" (Researcher Tanzima Habib, Norwegian University of Science and Technology), "Sustainable Autonomous Print Color Control" (Jan Morovic, Principal Technologist, HP), "Suction Steel Belt Providing Flat and Accurate Continuous Moving Stage Under Inkjet Print Head" (Masaru Sakuma, CEO, Spin Co., Ltd.), and "Fact-Based Study on AI Patent Trends and Their Impact on Printing Technology" (Jehong Chen, Senior IP Technologist, HP).
Additionally, research presentations such as "Improvement of Functional Properties of Print Materials by New Ultra-High Viscosity Inkjet Print Head" by Ramon Borrell, CTO of Quantica UK, and technical courses including "Rapid Jetting State Inspection System and Its Applications for Inkjet Printing" by Professor Shin Dongyun of National Pukyong National University will be offered.
The 2024 Advances in Printing Technology conference will be held both onsite and online, and participants can attend after pre-registering on the IS&T website.
