An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 occurred in the Kanagawa Prefecture area of the Tokyo metropolitan region in Japan.
According to NHK on the 9th, the Japan Meteorological Agency reported that at around 7:57 PM, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 struck approximately 25 km northwest of Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The epicenter was located at 35.40 degrees north latitude and 139.20 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 10 km. The Japan Meteorological Agency added that no tsunami was generated by this earthquake.
