Seoul Metro (President Baek Ho) is reported to have confirmed Ma Haegun, Director of Public Relations, and Go Heegyu, Director of Civil Engineering, as successors to the Head of Sales and Head of Technology, who will step down on the 9th of next month.

Seoul Metro recently narrowed down candidates for the positions of Head of Planning, Head of Sales, and Head of Technology through a recruitment and selection process involving applications and interviews for three executive directors.

However, the company decided to withhold the appointment for the Head of Planning position, judging that there was no suitable candidate, and confirmed the appointments for the Head of Sales and Head of Technology.

Accordingly, the recruitment for the Head of Planning is expected to be reopened later.

Meanwhile, Ma Haegun, Director of Public Relations, was confirmed as the Head of Sales. Director Ma, an expert in public relations with good external relations, was appointed as an executive director.

Additionally, Go Heegyu, Director of Civil Engineering, is evaluated as an executive with excellent expertise and leadership, who is well respected by his subordinates.
