Factors typically influencing housing prices include views, school districts, convenience facilities, and transportation. Among these, the value of apartments located by or facing the sea, rivers, or lakes is expected to continuously rise. Recently, as the real estate market has been reorganized to focus on actual residence, waterfront apartments are gaining popularity as an alternative for residential satisfaction and investment value.

Modern people, weary of complex urban life, seek homes in areas with excellent natural environments that provide mental stability and rest. Such places are preferred by people of all ages and are highly sought after, which naturally leads to increased apartment prices and rising value due to high demand.

A local real estate official stated, "In a volatile real estate market like today, coastal apartments have solid demand, so prices steadily increase and are defended even during downturns," adding, "Pay attention to the newly launched apartments near Gyeonso-dong, Gangneung, which is close to the metropolitan area and boasts excellent natural surroundings."

Near Gangneung's 'Ocean City I’PARK,' there are popular spots for the MZ generation such as Anmok Coffee Street, the Solbat walking trail frequented by citizens and tourists, and various marine leisure activities available at the sea, allowing residents to experience seasonal changes firsthand while enjoying both relaxation and residence.

Additionally, the complex features various community facilities that utilize natural lighting, including walking trails, fitness centers, golf practice ranges, guest houses, and Moms Station, enhancing the quality of life.

Until now, the Gangneung coastal area mainly saw supply of standalone apartments with low brand recognition, but the newly launched 'Ocean City I’PARK' is attracting significant attention in the region due to its large scale (794 households) and brand (I’PARK).

In particular, future coastal areas are expected to see increased scarcity of apartments due to rising construction costs, difficulties in changing apartment usage, and delays in project permits, making new supply unlikely.

Meanwhile, move-in is scheduled for August 2026.
