With this MOU, Classys plans to export its non-invasive monopolar radiofrequency (RF) device, VoluNomer, to the U.S. market. The company aims to finalize the main contract this month, hold a local launch event in October, and begin VoluNomer sales in the fourth quarter. Initially, sales and evaluations will be conducted targeting key opinion leaders (KOLs) in dermatology, with full-scale equipment supply to skin clinics planned from next year.
The company emphasizes that VoluNomer is safe, effective, and causes minimal pain, allowing comfortable procedures without anesthesia. Through this, it is expected to become a popular treatment surpassing the frequency of microneedle radiofrequency (MNRF) procedures in the U.S.
Cartesa Aesthetic is a company distributing beauty medical products throughout North America and ranks third in sales volume within the U.S. industry. It has shown an average annual sales growth rate of 48% over the past five years. About 40% of its total 250 employees are local sales staff conducting specialized sales activities in each region. The company also operates a separate team promoting sales of consumables related to equipment, which is expected to boost Classys’ local consumables sales as well.
A Classys representative stated, “The U.S. is the world’s largest market, accounting for 45.5% of the total beauty market as of 2022. If Classys secures a certain market position in the U.S., it could achieve significant sales in the future,” adding, “We expect to sell VoluNomer more rapidly in the U.S. through this MOU.”
