The Cheongaram Volunteer Group of Daegu Urban Development Corporation (headed by Kang Jeommun) announced on the 7th that, together with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch of Habitat for Humanity Korea (Chairman Jung Jinsu), they carried out a home repair project for the descendants of national merit recipients.
This home repair project is part of the collaborative agreement for improving the residential environments of vulnerable groups in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region, signed between the Cheongaram Volunteer Group of Daegu Urban Development Corporation and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch of Habitat for Humanity Korea in December 2023. The project targeted descendants of national merit recipients living in poor housing conditions in the region.

Based on this support, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch selected households of national merit recipients' descendants living in old houses in Buk-gu, Daegu, and completed the home repair work.
Kang Jeommun, head of the Cheongaram Volunteer Group of Daegu Urban Development Corporation, said, "I am pleased that we were able to provide a safe and comfortable living space for the descendants of national merit recipients through this home repair project," and added, "We will continue to actively work with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch of Habitat for Humanity Korea to improve the residential environment and ensure the stability of vulnerable groups in the region."
