On the 8th, Korea Securities Finance Dream Sharing Foundation announced that it held the '2024 Korea Securities Finance Dream Sharing Foundation Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony' at the Korea Securities Finance headquarters to foster future talents.


The Dream Sharing Foundation selects scholarship students annually targeting children of employees from employee stock ownership corporations and youths residing in or originating from child care facilities. This year, 95 new scholarship students were selected, and including those already selected, a total of 154 students will receive scholarships amounting to 209 million KRW.


Kang Hyun-ah, a professor in the Department of Child Welfare at Sookmyung Women's University and a director of the Dream Sharing Foundation, attended the award ceremony and gave a special lecture on the topic of 'Children and Youth Rights.'


Chairman Kim Jeong-gak stated, "Although students face difficulties in their studies due to economic reasons, we will continue to support and encourage students with diverse dreams and talents to fully demonstrate their abilities in their respective fields and move toward their goals."


Since its establishment in 2013, the Korea Securities Finance Dream Sharing Foundation has selected a total of 793 scholarship students through the Dream Sharing Scholarship Project and provided approximately 3.1 billion KRW in scholarships.
