Remodeling Reopening Ceremony of Guro District Community Sports Center Held on the 8th

Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) recently held a reopening ceremony for the Guro-gu Citizens Sports Center, which has completed its remodeling project, on the 8th.

The reopening ceremony was held in the order of guest introductions, progress reports, congratulatory speeches, commemorative photos, and facility tours, with about 80 attendees including Mayor Moon Heon-il of Guro-gu, city and district council members, and local residents.

The Guro-gu Citizens Sports Center, located in Gocheok-dong, Guro-gu, has 2 basement floors, 3 above-ground floors, and a total area of 5,263㎡. It is equipped with a swimming pool, Pilates room, aerobics room, fitness center, and an auxiliary gymnasium.

Mayor Moon Heon-il of Guro-gu said, “The Guro-gu Citizens Sports Center is a representative sports facility in Guro-gu used by 50,000 residents annually,” and added, “I hope the Guro-gu Citizens Sports Center will continue to develop into a special space where residents can fully enjoy their recreational sports activities.”
