KOTRA announced on the 9th that it donated remanufactured computers to Good News World the day before, in collaboration with the social enterprise Liman. They explained that the donation was made to support digital education for African children.

This donation involved delivering computers, which were refurbished by Liman from old PCs and monitors that KOTRA had used for a certain period for office work, to African children through Good News World.

Good News World is an international development cooperation NGO. The campaign to donate computers for digital education to African children is being conducted on Liman’s digital in-kind donation platform, 'Replus'.

Gu Ja-deok, CEO of Liman, said, "We plan to continuously carry out activities supporting the digitally underprivileged worldwide through Replus." Song Jang-seon, Secretary-General of Good News World, stated, "Children and youth in underprivileged educational environments will be able to receive computer education and nurture their dreams and talents."

Lee Jung-hoon, Head of KOTRA’s Digital Trade and Investment Division, said, "I decided to donate hoping to help close the information gap for digitally marginalized children in Africa," adding, "We plan to continue donating computers in the future."
