Gift of Dreams, Hope, and Joy... POSCO Pohang Steelworks Invites Local Children's Centers for Summer Vacation Tour

About 250 Students to Visit in Five Groups Starting July 29

POSCO Pohang Steelworks organized a special tour of POSCO Park1538 for students from local children's centers during the summer vacation.

Children from the community center on summer vacation are touring the POSCO Park1538 exhibition hall.

From June 29 to August 8, Pohang Steelworks invited about 250 students over five separate sessions.

Students from 11 children's centers in the area visited POSCO Park1538, where they learned about POSCO's history from its founding to its future business plans. After the tour, the students received fans featuring POSCO's character 'Poseokho' and commemorative photos as gifts.

One student from Pohang Bitsal Children's Center who participated on the 8th said, "Going out for a tour makes it really feel like summer vacation. When the weather gets a bit cooler, I want to come back and walk around the riverside park with my teachers and friends."

A POSCO Pohang Steelworks representative stated, "By promoting citizen tours of Park1538, we aim to establish it as a representative cultural space in Pohang where anyone can relax and enjoy."
