Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, will hold an event to increase the cashback and usage limit of the local currency (Yeonsu e-eum) during the 'New Songdo Beach Festival' held at Songdo Dalbit Park from the 10th to the 15th.
During the festival period, when paying with the Yeonsu e-eum card at local affiliated stores in Yeonsu-gu, an additional 5% cashback on the payment amount will be supported, and the purchase limit will be temporarily raised to 500,000 KRW.
The existing Yeonsu e-eum cashback is 10% for affiliated stores with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less, 5% for stores with annual sales exceeding 300 million KRW but less than or equal to 3 billion KRW, and the monthly purchase limit is 300,000 KRW.
The additional cashback application period is from the 10th to the 15th, when the New Songdo Beach Festival is held. During this period, a 15% cashback is provided when paying with the Yeonsu e-eum card at stores with sales of 300 million KRW or less, and a 10% cashback is provided at stores with sales exceeding 300 million KRW but less than or equal to 3 billion KRW.
The purchase limit is also 500,000 KRW, and users can receive up to 75,000 KRW in cashback. The Yeonsu e-eum card currently secures about 19,000 affiliated stores in the region and can be used in various industries.
Lee Jae-ho, mayor of Yeonsu-gu, said, "The Yeonsu e-eum card not only helps local small business owners and citizens' households struggling with rising prices and economic recession but also plays a role in the virtuous cycle of the local economy," adding, "We hope you enjoy delicious meals and purchase goods in our region during the summer festival."
