On the 8th, their agency Pledis Entertainment announced that Seventeen will hold their world tour 'Seventeen [Light Here] World Tour' in five U.S. cities and four Japanese cities from October to December. Having attracted 380,000 attendees during the first half of the year with the 'Seventeen Tour 'Follow' Again,' they plan to maintain their momentum through the end of the year.

The U.S. tour will kick off spectacularly on October 22-23 (local time) at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont. It will then continue on October 25 and 27 at Belmont Park UBS Arena, October 31 and November 1 at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, November 5-6 at Oakland Arena in Oakland, and November 9 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

Particularly, there is growing interest in whether Seventeen will top the U.S. Billboard main album chart, the 'Billboard 200,' with this album. They have placed five albums consecutively in the top 10 of the 'Billboard 200.' Their 10th mini-album 'FML' (2023) and 11th mini-album 'Seventeenth Heaven' (2023) both reached number 2.

Unfortunately, they narrowly missed the top spot due to tough competition. To solidify their reputation as a top K-pop group, the symbolic achievement of reaching number 1 on the 'Billboard 200' is necessary. Usually, the fourth quarter sees a flood of new releases from major pop stars. If Seventeen puts strong promotional efforts into their 12th mini-album, scheduled for release in October, alongside the U.S. tour, it is expected that they could achieve the top position.

The Japan leg will be a dome tour. Seventeen will launch the tour on November 29-30 at Aichi's Vantelin Dome Nagoya, followed by December 4-5 at Tokyo Dome, December 12 and 14-15 at Kyocera Dome Osaka, and December 19 and 21-22 at Fukuoka PayPay Dome. They also plan to release a Japanese single alongside the tour.

Seventeen will open the new tour on October 12-13 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. This tour will be an opportunity to experience live performances of new songs from their 12th mini-album.

Earlier, Seventeen is set to appear as headliners at 'Lollapalooza Berlin' held at the Olympiastadion Berlin in Germany on September 8 (local time).
