Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the 8th that it will extend the operating hours of the ‘Baebongsan Forest Waterfall’ until 9:50 PM throughout August to help residents exhausted by the heat.

Considering the tropical night phenomenon and the high interest of residents in the waterfall, the district decided to operate the waterfall every hour on the hour from 9 AM to 9 PM until August 31, for 30 minutes each time.

During the operating hours, visitors can enjoy the cool streams of the waterfall and fountain together until the 30th minute of each hour, followed by a fountain-only show until the 50th minute.

Detailed operating hours of the ‘Baebongsan Forest Waterfall’ can be found on the information boards around the waterfall and on the Dongdaemun-gu website (Dongdaemun News / Notice Board / District News).

From September, when the heat is expected to subside, the waterfall will operate from 11 AM to 5:50 PM.
