KOSDAQ Association Donates 300 Million KRW in Misosarang Sponsorship to Social Welfare Organizations

The KOSDAQ Association announced on the 8th that the funds raised through the '17th Miso Love Charity Golf Tournament' were donated to 16 social welfare organizations, including Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, Seoul National University Children's Hospital, Seoul Metropolitan Children's Hospital, Hallym Burn Foundation, Severance Hospital, and the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Started in 2006, the Miso Love Charity Golf Tournament is a representative social contribution activity voluntarily participated in by KOSDAQ companies. All proceeds from the event are used to support surgery costs for underprivileged pediatric patients and youth-related social welfare organizations.

This year, a record-high amount of 339 million KRW was raised. Through a cumulative donation of 2.879 billion KRW over 19 years, the tournament has helped bring smiles to children who find it difficult to receive treatment due to financial difficulties and various other underprivileged children.

Oh Heung-sik, Chairman of the KOSDAQ Association, said, "Although these are difficult times, the interest and warm acts of love from KOSDAQ companies have allowed us to continue sharing activities for the past 19 years. We deeply thank all the companies that have participated so far."
