The number of subscribers of YouTubers accused of extorting money through blackmail from the famous mukbang (eating broadcast) YouTuber Tzuyang has reportedly plummeted.
On the 8th, the webzine Tube Guide announced the domestic YouTube channel rankings for the first week of August. In the case of YouTuber Karakula, the number of subscribers dropped by nearly 300,000, from 1.29 million on the 10th of last month to 994,000 as of the 7th.

These individuals are under investigation for charges including blackmailing Tzuyang and extorting money, or aiding and abetting such acts. Gujeokyeok was arrested on the 26th of last month on charges of blackmail, threats, and coercion, while Karakula was arrested on the 2nd for aiding and abetting blackmail and threats.
Meanwhile, the subscriber count of the YouTube channel 'Garosero Yeonguso' (Gaseyeon), which first exposed the controversy related to Tzuyang, also slightly decreased. Gaseyeon's subscriber count was close to 880,000 on the 31st of last month, but as of the 7th, it stands at 877,000. They too have been sued by Tzuyang's side for allegations including spreading false information, blackmail, and coercion against Tzuyang.
Kim Se-ui, the representative of Gaseyeon, responded to the receipt of the lawsuit from Tzuyang's side by stating, "If I am found not guilty, we will immediately file a counter-lawsuit against Tzuyang for false accusation."
