Total Floor Area 33,000㎡... Size of 5 Soccer Fields
Dual Operation Policy with Direct Overseas Mall and PB
CJ Olive Young announced on the 8th that it has newly established the Olive Young Anseong Logistics Center in Daedeok-myeon, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 7th and will begin pilot operations starting this month.
The Anseong Center will handle the overall logistics of Olive Young Global Mall (direct overseas purchase mall) and private brands (PB) such as Bioheal Bo and WakeMake. This facility is expected to serve as a hub logistics base that consolidates functions previously scattered across three locations in the metropolitan area into one place.
The Anseong Center has a total floor area of 33,000㎡ (approximately 10,000 pyeong), nearly the size of five soccer fields. It is the second-largest facility following the 'Metropolitan Integrated Logistics Center' built in Yongin in 2019. Its single-floor structure allows for efficient inventory operation and management, and it is located close to the integrated logistics center responsible for logistics of metropolitan area stores and online malls.
The new logistics center will operate in a dual system tailored to the characteristics of each business. First, the space dedicated to the Global Mall will introduce customized shipping facilities for global carriers such as DHL and EMS to provide optimized delivery services by country. This is to ensure smooth delivery services even during major sales periods like Black Friday, when overseas orders can surge up to five times the usual volume. In the future, the process from product sorting to packaging will be automated to increase worker productivity.
The space dedicated to PB has integrated inventory previously operated across two logistics facilities in the Yongin area into a single workspace. This is to reduce the time required for shipments to external sales channels such as exports and duty-free. Unlike the Global Mall logistics, which handles multiple small orders divided into several shipments, a 400-pyeong space has been created exclusively for large-volume shipments at once.
Through the establishment of the Anseong Center, Olive Young plans to strengthen its global and brand businesses. It aims to proactively respond to global customer demand for K-Beauty and serve as a foothold for small and medium-sized brands to export. Additionally, Olive Young plans to advance logistics in line with the growth of the Global Mall, which sells K-Beauty products to over 150 countries worldwide.
An Olive Young official stated, "The Anseong Logistics Center will serve as the first gateway for small and medium K-Beauty brands entering overseas markets through Olive Young. We plan to continuously strengthen competitiveness and expand our global logistics network."
