The three major indices of the U.S. New York stock market all fell on the 7th (local time).
On that day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 0.6% from the previous trading day. The S&P 500 index, centered on large-cap stocks, fell 0.77%, and the tech-focused Nasdaq index dropped 1.05% to close the session.
