Woo Ha-ram (26, Korea Sports Promotion Foundation), South Korea's top diver, advanced to the Olympic finals for the third consecutive time.
On the 7th (KST), Woo Ha-ram ranked 9th out of 18 competitors with a total score of 432.00 points from six dives in the men's 3m springboard semifinal at the Aquatic Center in Paris, France, securing one of the 12 tickets to the finals.

After placing 12th out of 25 with 389.10 points in the preliminary round the day before, Woo improved both his score and ranking in the semifinals.
Woo Ha-ram will challenge for a medal in the final, which will be held at 10 p.m. on the 8th.
South Korea's top diver Woo Ha-ram has participated in three consecutive Olympics, including the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games and the 2020 Tokyo Games held in 2021. In Rio 2016, Woo became the first Korean diver to reach the Olympic final stage, finishing 11th in the men's 10m platform. At the Tokyo Olympics three years ago, he achieved the best result in Korean diving history by finishing 4th in the men's 3m springboard. In his third Olympic appearance, he aims to win a medal.
Lee Jae-kyung (Incheon Metropolitan City Hall), who also advanced to the semifinals, did not make it to the finals. Lee ranked 17th out of 18 with a total score of 366.50 points in the semifinals.
