"Due to the Spread of Buldak Popularity"... Samyang Foods Establishes European Corporation in the Netherlands

Samyang Foods has established a European corporation in the Netherlands.

According to the food industry on the 7th, Samyang Foods has completed the registration of the European corporation and is currently hiring employees.

A representative of Samyang Foods said, "We established the corporation in the Netherlands, which has well-developed infrastructure for trade, investment, information, and services, to improve logistics efficiency across the entire European market."

This is the fifth overseas corporation established by Samyang Foods, following Japan, China, the United States, and Indonesia.

Based on the European corporation, Samyang Foods plans to further expand the export scale of key products such as Buldak Bokkeummyeon. The proportion of Samyang Foods' exports to Europe steadily increased from 6% in 2019 to 11% in 2021, and 16% last year.

In response to the increase in exports, Samyang Foods will additionally establish a second factory in Miryang next year.
